We are ready to share with you a project our development team had soft-released at the beginning of the summer – News by Other Publishers. This update significantly enhances our News coverage, offering you even more industry-relevant information. In addition to this, we have also deployed a few small fixes on the website in the past month. Continue reading to learn more about the latest News feature and the other minor bugs we’ve solved.

Read News by Other Publishers and stay up-to-date with all the latest industry events
Before the summer started, our development team had previewed a new feature to enrich our News reporting. Besides our free, PRO, and PRO Exclusive News, we have also added News by Other Publishers to ensure you’re up to date with all the latest events. With this new feature, you will have a 360° overview of the airline industry.
News by Other Publishers are News stories published by another channel. Here at ch-aviation, we take these articles and summarise them, condensing them down and highlighting the salient points. This type of publication provides you with an informative yet concise synopsis of lengthy News reports. This way, you are informed about the most crucial information but do not have to comb through the entire article.
However, if you want to read the full News story, we also include a link at the bottom of our article to redirect you to the original News report. You can then access the newsdesk that published the story first and read the entire article there. Before redirecting, you will be asked for permission to proceed to the original News story.
News by Other Publishers also applies to articles originally published in a language other than English. Communicating these stories will ensure that you truly do not miss out on anything, as we bring you local News from all corners of the world.
The News by Other Publishers is part of the general News, while Route Network Changes News and Management Changes News are exclusively ch-aviation News stories.
When redirecting from the Airline Fleet/Bases tab, the Aircraft Search page now shows aircraft that were wet-leased into a fleet
Before, when you clicked on ‘show complete list’ while viewing an airline’s Fleet/Base listing, the Aircraft Search page would not display aircraft that were wet-leased in. We have amended this error, and the Aircraft Search page now shows the full fleet information correctly – including the wet-leased aircraft.
The Location tab in Entity Information pages is correctly displayed
Previously there was an error notice under the Location tab in Entity Information pages. This issue has been resolved, and the Location listing now displays the right information.
The Aircraft Model link leads to the Aircraft Variant page properly
We have worked on the Aircraft Model red hyperlinks so that the links now correctly redirect you to the Aircraft Variant page. On the Aircraft Variant page, you can view in-depth information regarding that particular aircraft.
