We are pleased to share the latest improvements and fixes in ch-aviation version 2.33, aimed at improving data accessibility, search functionality, and the overall user experience.

This release introduces several improvements to our Aircraft Accidents & Incidents data, including additional date and time information across searches, downloads, and profile pages. We have also resolved an issue affecting Aircraft Search results for second-hand aircraft with a To be delivered status.

1. Aircraft Accidents & Incidents – Improvements Added

We have implemented a set of improvements to the Aircraft Accidents & Incidents section, providing users with more detailed information on when an accident or incident occurred and making this information available consistently across searches, profile pages, and downloads.

“Edit View” and Accident & Incident profiles enriched with new data points

You can now add the following search criterias to your search result view:

    • Event Time – Displays the time of the accident or incident.
    • Local Date – Displays the date of the event based on the local time at the event location.
    • Local Time – Displays the local time at which the event occurred.

These data points have also been added to individual Aircraft Accident & Incident profile pages. This provides users with a more complete view of the timing of an accident or incident directly from the corresponding profile page.

“Date” Renamed to “Event Date”

For greater clarity and consistency, the column previously labelled Date has been renamed to Event Date. This makes it easier to distinguish the main event date from the newly introduced Local Date field.

The same enhancements above are also reflected in Aircraft Accidents & Incidents downloads.

2. Aircraft Search – Fixed Issue with “To Be Delivered” Results for Second-Hand Aircraft

We have resolved an issue affecting the Fleets/Bases tab and the display of “To be delivered” aircraft. Previously, when users clicked on the total number of aircraft listed as “To be delivered,” the resulting search did not include second-hand aircraft that were in the process of changing operators. This issue has now been fixed, and these aircraft are correctly included in the search results.
