ch-aviation can provide the data feeds to you directly via file transfer protocol (FTP), safe file transfer protocol (SFTP) or a shared Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 bucket.

Which delivery formats you support?

The data is provided as Comma-separated values (.csv) flat files. Optionally we can provide them as Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) or XML (.xml)

How often does data get updated?

The ch-aviation database is updated in batches to ensure all data flows through ch-aviation’s semi-automated quality assurance process built to maximise data integrity. As a result, the data set remains relatively static in the ch-aviation production database, for most data sets for a week or month at a time. Therefore, the most efficient integration option is the transfer of flat files provided for integration into your own applications in various formats.

Accidents and Incidents Event Profiles – “Occurrence Category”:

The “Occurrence Category” section is now available under Event Profiles, allowing you to quickly identify whether the event was classified as an Accident, Incident, Serious Incident, Unknown Occurrence, Unlawful Interference, or Other.

Scrolling Issue connected to Modals:

Previously, users were unable to scroll after closing a modal (such as the “Load Search” window). This issue has been resolved, and users can now continue to scroll and search after closing any modal. (A modal is a web page element that appears in front of and disables the rest of the page content.)
